JOCELYN MILLER

Sound / Source is a large-scale electroacoustic music festival that took place at MoMA PS1. A day-long exploration of electroacoustic music in all its forms, featuring collaborations between legends, luminaries, and newcomers, Sound / Source foregrounds the interplay between human and machine sounds, with particular focus on the elasticity of the human voice and the endless expanse of its interpretation through electronic processing.

 

Participants included Paul Lansky, Holly Herndon, Ty Braxton, Oneohtrix Point Never, Olga Bell, Tristan Perich, Vicky Chow, Caroline Shaw, Daniel Wohl, Roomful of Teeth, and Alvin Lucier. Organized with Michael Hammond and Daniel Wohl.
