JOCELYN MILLER

The first museum solo show of Meriem Bennani, FLY was a new multi-media commission that immersed viewers in an environment of brightly colored, geometric forms and surfaces. FLY's many screens and cultural references evade conventional narrative, synthesizing the information streams that compete for our attention in contemporary life.  Layering universal archetypes of human behavior and ritual alongside digital media, FLY tests the boundaries of what is familiar or strange, real or virtual.
