The first U.S. retrospective of Beijing-based artist Cao Fei, this exhibition featured one of the most innovative young artists to have emerged from China in recent generations. Cao creates multimedia projects that come alive in elaborately constructed artistic universes, exploring the experiences of young Chinese citizens as they confront the realities of their rapidly changing society.
